Utah K-12 students invited to create
a picture of a Long-billed Dowitcher
FARMINGTON,
UT — October 9, 2012 — The
15th annual Great Salt Lake Bird Festival announces its 2013 Student
Art Contest, sponsored in part by a grant from the Davis County Commissioners’
Cup Golf Tournament and Rio Tinto Kennecott Utah Copper. All Utah students from
kindergarten to 12th grade are invited to submit an original drawing
or painting in color of a Long-billed Dowitcher using personal observation,
field guides, or Internet resources to research their artwork.
