  •  GSL Bird Festival is next week.  We are excited to have you join us!

  • Please note these important field trip updates:

UPDATE for GSL boat and kayak trips: All boat /kayak trips scheduled to leave from the Antelope Island Marina will now be leaving from the Great Salt Lake Marina.  This includes #9, 10, 13, 23, 27, 33, 43, 46, 48, 57, and 61.

  • The Big Stay at Farmington Bay Friday May 15 at 5 pm to Saturday May 16 at 5 pm has been cancelled.

  • Trip #24 Rockport Reservoir Kayak is cancelled due to weather.

  • Still have Thursday May 14th  field trip tickets available for #1 4 Mile Ranch, #4 Jordanelle Wetlands, #5 Willard Bay, #7 Swaner EcoCenter, #8 Jordan River Parkway, and #11 Birds and Spurs.

  • Trips open on Friday May 15th include: #15 Photography at Kaysville Ponds, #16 my favorite Birds and Geology on Antelope Island, if you buy the 1 ticket to #21 Rock Canyon & Bean Museum- you can take a guest, and #22 Birds and Spurs- horseback birding.

  • Saturday has some great trips open: #30 Glover Poinds at Sunrise, #31 Birding by Ear- great trip, and #36 Boy Scout Merit Badge and Youth program.

  • Monday's #49 Deseret Ranch has openings, as does #50 Cache Valley Hotspots.  #52 is birding downtown Salt Lake City, #55 Kaysville East Mountain Wilderness Park, and #58 Exploring Promontory has openings.

  • If you have children or have never been to Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City, sign up for #59 - you will get the special Bird Festival private tour.
